E-commerce is the consolidated transport of goods — smart, resource-efficient and sustainable. But Footway's ambitions reach far beyond that. At the core of its operations, strategy and vision, Footway focuses on sustainability and on transforming the industry toward less waste and lower error rates.
Carbon neutral
Our logistics partner DHL works with transparency, emission reduction and carbon offsetting. Together with DHL Express, Footway invests in climate-protection projects in various regions around the world.
Extend product lifespan
Products returned to Footway go through rigorous quality control. Only flawless products are resold. Together with Sellpy we have saved 300 tonnes of CO₂ and 40 million litres of water and sold nearly 13,000 pairs of shoes.
Recycling
Through Footway's partnership with FTI, our packaging is handled sustainably. We pay for the recycling of everything we produce and 80% of our packaging becomes new packaging.
Hardware reuse
Together with Inrego we extend the lifespan of IT products. Through refurbishment and resale, Inrego guarantees at least one additional year of life for our old IT products.
Office recycling
Returab collects and recycles office waste — paper, hazardous waste, electronics, packaging, glass and metal. By turning waste into a useful resource we reduce our climate footprint.
Solar energy
Our eco-friendly warehouses use solar panels for 30–50% of their energy needs. This sustainable approach reduces our carbon footprint and promotes renewable energy.
